    How do online Italian lessons work?

    We meet on a video call at a time that suits you. Each lesson is one-to-one and personalised: we speak, work on what you need, and I send you the materials and notes afterwards.

    Are online Italian lessons suitable for beginners?

    Absolutely. Many of my students start from zero. Lessons move at your pace, in a relaxed atmosphere where making mistakes is part of learning.

    Can I learn Italian online if I have never studied it before?

    Yes. With a structured plan and regular speaking practice, complete beginners usually hold their first simple conversations within a few weeks.

    How long does it take to learn Italian?

    It depends on your starting point and how often you practise. With one lesson a week plus a little self-study, most students reach conversational level (B1) in 12–18 months.

    Are the lessons one-to-one?

    Yes, private lessons are always one-to-one, so every minute is focused on you. I also run a small group conversation course, Aperitivo Italiano, for A2+ learners.

    Do you teach Italian conversation?

    Conversation is at the heart of my method. Even grammar is practised through speaking, so you learn to use Italian, not just recognise it.

    Can you help me prepare for the Italian B1 citizenship exam?

    Yes — I have a dedicated program that takes you from A1 to B1 with exam simulations and all the topics required for the citizenship test.
