Which exam does this program prepare me for?

The B1 language exam required for Italian citizenship — CILS B1 Cittadinanza, CELI B1 or an equivalent recognised certificate. The tasks are very similar across them, so we prepare the format you will actually sit and adapt the practice papers to it.

Do you book the exam for me?

Accepted Answer

No, you book it yourself with an authorised exam centre, but I show you how sessions work in Australia, the usual dates and what documents you need, so you don't miss a session.

What if my level is still below B1?

We check that in your free trial. If you're at A1 or A2 we start with the language you're missing and then move into exam practice; if you need more than 10 lessons you can add single lessons at the normal rate.

What exactly is included in the program?

Every program includes your private one-to-one lessons, a personalised plan built on your goals, all the materials and exercises we use (sent as PDFs you keep), written corrections after each lesson, clear objectives for each stage of the program, and email support between lessons. Nothing is charged extra: the price you see is the full price in AUD.

How quickly do I get my written corrections and notes?

Within 24 hours of each lesson (Sydney time) you receive your written notes and corrections by email: what you said well, the mistakes worth fixing, the new vocabulary, and the small task for the week. Extra materials for the next lesson arrive at least 24 hours before we meet, so you always have time to prepare.

How much is a one-hour lesson?

A single 60-minute private lesson is A$42 and a 45-minute lesson is A$35, the same price at every level. Booking in blocks costs less per lesson: the monthly plan is A$130 for 4×45 minutes and A$156 for 4×60 minutes every 28 days, and the multi-lesson programs work out around 10% below the single-lesson rate. After a free trial, hour-long programs get a further 10% off.

Which currency do I pay in?

All programs are priced and charged in Australian dollars (AUD). Every price on the site also shows an automatic euro equivalent at today's exchange rate, so students in Europe know roughly what they are paying — the amount charged is always the AUD figure.

Question 8

What time are the lessons, and does that work outside Australia?

Accepted Answer

Lessons are scheduled in Sydney time (AEST/AEDT) and you pick your slot when you book. Early mornings and evenings in Sydney work well for Europe, so students in Italy and elsewhere can attend comfortably.

Can I try a lesson before buying a program?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can book a free 30-minute trial lesson so we can check your level and goals. If you then book an hour-long program you get 10% off.

Question 10

What happens if I need to cancel or move a lesson?

Accepted Answer

You can reschedule from your Student Area with at least 24 hours' notice at no cost. Lessons cancelled with less notice are counted as taken, and your rights under Australian Consumer Law always apply.
